Identifies, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and joint ventures. Directs the planning and preparation of business proposals and makes recommendations to senior management.This role in summaryWhirlpool Corporation is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Manager, Corporate Strategy & Portfolio Management. This is an onsite role and will be located in Benton Harbor, MI. A comprehensive relocation package is available for eligible candidates. The Strategy & Portfolio Management team is aligned with the C-suite at Whirlpool and drives initiatives in three major areas: (i) Engagement (as appropriate) with Whirlpool's current and legacy minority interests in Europe, China, and India. (ii) Support in strategic center activities, including but not limited to Board materials, senior leadership materials, and select strategic projects; and (iii) Management of competitive intelligence activities.Your responsibilities will includeSupport with internal & external stakeholder engagement and, as appropriate, issue resolution on select topics across one or more of Whirlpool's minority interest entitiesBuild recurring financial reports and update forecasts for PortfolioOwn 2-3 quarterly competitive intelligence reports to send to senior leadershipAssist, as needed, with creation of Board, Senior Leader, or other Executive Committee materialsSupport, as needed, with any M&A transactionsLimited travel < 10%Minimum requirementsBachelor’s Degree3+ years of Business Analyst / Associate experience2+ years of experience in project management or change managementPreferred skills and experiencesMBAExperience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equityCommunication and presentation skills, both written and verbalExperience delivering on short time frames and commitment to meeting deadlinesInternational experience (personal or professional)What we offerGenerous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
