Armed Security Guard
Location: New Orleans, LA, 70126
Skills Required:

• 21 years of age or older
• Pass a Louisiana State background check
• Certified by the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners or willing to get certified
• Certified to carry a weapon or willing to get certified
• Have a valid Louisiana State ID or Louisiana driver's license
• Provide a Social Security Card or Birth Certificate
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends or holidays if needed

Job Description:

The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The guard will also be responsible for detecting and reporting security breaches, responding to alarms, emergencies, and enforcing access control procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, be able to report and communicate all and as part of a team, and have strong attention to detail. The candidate must also be able to handle and operate firearms safely and effectively.
